Transformers

Transformers can often be shipped the same day as ordered. New and remanufactured transformers are available from stocking locations in the continental United States. Our inventory of transformers available for immediate shipment ranges from 30 kVA to 10000 kVA in three phase units and 25 kVA to 1250 kVA in single phase units. We carry both indoor and outdoor transformers for a variety of applications. Most transformers are available for emergency rentals. Special voltage distribution and substation transformers may be remanufactured for special or out-of-stock applications. Transformers are available with primary and secondary switchgear for a complete package.

Dry Type Transformer
DRY TYPE TRANSFORMERS. Primarily used for indoor non-corrosive applications, three phase ventilated dry type power center transformers are available up to 5000 kVA with or without enclosures. Primary voltages range from 2400 volts to 14.4 kV. General purpose dry type transformers range from 30 to 500 kVA (single or three phase) with primary voltages to 2400 volts.

Outdoor Substation
SUBSTATION TRANSFORMERS. For main incoming power, oil-filled substation transformers are available to 10000 kVA. Primary voltages range from 2400 volts through 69 kV. Configurations include top-mounted bushings or side-mounted bushings (with flanges, throats or air terminal chambers). LTC is available on some of the larger transformers. Accessories may include arresters or bushing current transformers.

Indoor LoadCenter
LOADCENTER and POWERCENTER TRANSFORMERS. Oil-filled loadcenter or powercenter transformers can be provided up to 3750 kVA and 14.4 kV primary voltage. Low voltages available include 208y/120, 240, 480y/277, 480 and 600 volts. Sidewall bushing arrangements include full-length flanges, air terminal chambers or throats.

Padmount Transformer
PADMOUNT TRANSFORMERS. Tamperproof outdoor applications require our oil-filled padmount transformers, available to 5000 kVA with primary voltages as high as 34.5 kV. Lockable doors and underground feed can eliminate costs associated with fencing or protective enclosures. Configurations include live-front, dead-front and loop or radial-feed. Accessories available include primary switches, fusing, lightning arresters and standard gauges.
